SUPPORT US

The Capodistrias Museum – Center of Capodistrian Studies relies on your support!

By supporting the work of the museum, you actively contribute to its operations and programmes, such as its educational programmes, exhibitions, events, and much more.

The Capodistrias Museum – Center of Capodistrian Studies is a civil non-profit organisation, which is not linked to any bequest, endowment or public subsidy. Its continuous operation and, by extension, its development, are supported by the revenue generated by its services and, most importantly, by sponsorships, grants, and donations, as well as its participation in funding schemes.

The museum itself and its main collection come from the donation made by the late Maria Capodistria-Desylla, a descendant of the Capodistrias family, to three Corfiot cultural organisations: the Reading Society of Corfu, the Philharmonic Society of Corfu (Palea), and the Society for Corfiot Studies. Over time, the museum has reached out to various donors to preserve, study and promote our national heritage. Find out more here about the supporters of the museum from its founding to the present day.

SUPPORT THE MUSEUM

The aim of the Capodistrias Museum – Center of Capodistrian Studies is the study and promotion of knowledge about Ioannis Capodistrias’ life and legacy, as well as the preservation and display of its historical collection and the Capodistrias estate of Koukouritsa. In order to achieve this, the museum continually seeks support in the form of sponsorships and donations, as well as through volunteer work.

We would very much like to hear from you if you would like to discuss a possible donation.
